Guided tour Karlstejn

Karlstejn was established by a Czech and Holy Roman, later Emperor Charles IV in order to save and protect the crown jewels of the Holy Roman Empire. The castle is today an important national cultural monument and one of the most visited castles in the Czech Republic. You can have a guided tour around the castle surrounding and interior of two floors of the Imperial (cisarsky) Palace and the ground floor of Marian Tower with valuable furnishing/equipment. There are many souvenir shops along the way.
